Essential work experience for your law c.v.

Everyone knows that out of the ordinary voluntary work experience really makes an amazing c.v. It's always best to contact places early to ensure you have the pick of the bunch, to ultimately sell the skills you've gained.

1~ The Citizens Advice Bureau

2~  Shadowing

3~ Paralegal/ caseworker

4~ Solicitors office

5~ Other e.g. babysitting or managing a sports team

The best type of experience you can gain is a job where you are trained to take on a role communicating with the public or simulating what you will be doing for the rest of you're career. These types of experience shows that you're not only committed to the profession but that you are already gaining some essential skills that many employers can easily put to good use. However any work experience is better than no experience when it comes to your c.v. Even managing a sport team or babysitting can develop some transferable skills.

Did you manage to obtain some unique experience that employers love? Let me know in the comments below.
